We provide support and learning for patient and public participation, involvement and engagement throughout the health and social care research process. We look to connect researchers, organisations and communities for better, inclusive research.

We run courses for both researchers and members of the public involved in research. Enrol on our courses and you, your researchers and members of the public involved in your research will learn what effective public involvement and engagement means and how to do it.

Work with us on your proposals and research and we will provide high quality advice and guidance, navigate you through successful patient and public involvement (ensuring you avoid the pitfalls!), and ease your workload.

Online public involvement and engagement training courses

Register for our online, introductory course on patient and public involvement and engagement. No need to wait for specific dates and no need to travel. Available all year round, you can start this course wherever you have access to the internet and go at your own pace.

Consultancy services

We will work in partnership with you to integrate patient and public involvement into your project in a meaningful way. We can work with you on your research proposal and/or provide support and advice during the course of your research.

Bespoke training

We will work with you to develop tailored workshops and training that fit the needs of your specific project and people. We create interactive training for both public and researchers with varying levels of knowledge of patient and public involvement and engagement.

Annual summer schools

We host summer schools covering different aspects of patient and public involvement and engagement in health and social care research. Meet other colleagues grappling with public involvement and engagement issues, hear from public members, subject experts and get answers to your queries.
